This class will teach students how to properly prepare for a jump safely to prevent injury to the body and also how to turn properly on the body's center access to prevent from falling over or feeling unstable. The ability to jump and turn correctly is very crucial to a dancer's technical progress.

The foundation for all dance forms.
Ballet combines grace, line and beauty to provide the technical foundation for all dance forms commonly practiced today. Strength, flexibility and balance are the focus of our ballet program. Ballet is a classical dance form dating back to the fifteenth century that involves formal technique including arm, leg, and foot positions to make lines with the body. Balance and correct body posture are the basis for turning, lifting and jumping.

Jazz is a traditional style of dance that evolved from a mixture of ballet and modern. An ever-changing art form, jazz reflects popular culture while helping to build versatile dancers who can leap, turn, balance – and have a great time while doing it! Using upbeat choreography and combinations this class is geared towards helping dancers to gain confidence, performance ability and style.

Tap is a great way to develop rhythm, coordination and muscle control.
Our tap program varies from traditional to free style, incorporating a warm up, across the floor technique and "quick-fire" combinations to prepare the student's memorization skills for more difficult choreography. Our advanced classes involve detailed footwork and articulation of sound.
